Many times it happens that, we need to change the operating system or need to install a Linux operating system on our personal computer. But to install the operating system we need to burn "iso" file of that operating system into flash drive such as CD.

Nowadays people, might not have a flash drive available with them. But Pendrive might be available. Many software available online which can help to burn iso file into your Pendrive. But in case you do not have that software and neither has an internet connection. In such a case you can do this with command prompt too.

Follow below mention steps and make your pen drive bootable with the selected operating system.

1) Open your command window. (I assume that you at list know what is the command window.)

2) Now caps on and write DISKPART. You get a new window as shown below image.

3) LIST DISK  and Enter

4) SELECT DISK 1

5) CLEAN

6) CREATE PARTITION 1

7) ACTIVE

8) FORMAT FS=NTFS and wait up to 100 percent [Do not remove before that otherwise your pen drive might be a malfunction ]

9) ASSIGN

10) EXIT and here you all done.

Now, Pendrive is bootable so just copy and paste your operating system "iso" files and RESTART your PC. Press f1 or f12 for the boot menu and install it.

Welcome 😊
